Tourismusnahe Unternehmen die keine tragf\u00e4higeren und \u00f6kologischeren Produkte entwickeln, drohen negative Publicity<\/strong>, der Vorsitzende des R\u00fccksichtsvolle Hoteliers<\/strong>, sagte Graham Miller am Dienstag auf dem Delphi Economic Forum VI in Athen.<\/p>\n

Bei einer Podiumsdiskussion zum Thema \u201eUmweltfreundliches Griechenland: Griechenland zu einem Top-Reiseziel f\u00fcr nachhaltigen Tourismus machen<\/strong>\u201c, sagte Graham Miller, dass Investitionen in Energie- und Wassereinsparungen nicht unbedingt teuer sind. Als Beispiel nannte er Sensoren in einem Hotelzimmer, die den Strom abschalten und bis zu 15 Prozent der Energiekosten f\u00fcr ein Einzelzimmer einsparen.<\/p>\n

Die Coronavirus-Pandemie hat Menschen zu kl\u00fcgeren Reisenden gemacht<\/strong>, auf der Suche nach Reisezielen, die die Umwelt respektieren, Randy Durband, CEO der Globaler Rat f\u00fcr nachhaltigen Tourismus<\/strong> (GSTC) sagte am Panel. Obwohl die Daten zeigen, dass Reisende nicht viele Fragen stellen, bevor sie ein Hotel buchen, sind sie froh, wenn sie sehen, dass es gute Umweltpraktiken befolgt, insbesondere wenn sie unter 35 Jahre alt sind.<\/p>\n

Ziel ist es, alle Hotels der Gruppe zu Zero-Waste-Hotels<\/strong>, die eine angemessene Schulung des Personals erfordert, f\u00fcgte sie hinzu.<\/p>\n
