Imprese legate al turismo che non sviluppano prodotti pi\u00f9 sostenibili ed ecologici affrontano la prospettiva di una pubblicit\u00e0 negativa<\/strong>, il presidente di Albergatori premurosi<\/strong>, Graham Miller, ha detto marted\u00ec al Delphi Economic Forum VI ad Atene.<\/p>\n

In una tavola rotonda su "Grecia ecologica: rendere la Grecia una delle principali destinazioni turistiche sostenibili<\/strong>\u201d, Graham Miller ha affermato che gli investimenti nel risparmio di energia e acqua non sono necessariamente costosi. Ha citato come esempio i sensori in una stanza d'albergo che spengono la corrente e fanno risparmiare fino al 15% del costo energetico di una singola stanza.<\/p>\n

La pandemia di coronavirus ha trasformato le persone in viaggiatori pi\u00f9 saggi<\/strong>, alla ricerca di destinazioni che rispettino l'ambiente, Randy Durband, CEO della Consiglio Globale del Turismo Sostenibile<\/strong> (GSTC) ha detto al panel. Sebbene i dati mostrino che i viaggiatori non fanno molte domande prima di prenotare un hotel, sono felici quando vedono che segue buone pratiche ambientali, in particolare se hanno meno di 35 anni.<\/p>\n

Come ha sottolineato Eleni Andreadis, Direttore Sostenibilit\u00e0 di Sani-Ikos, essere redditizi e seguire "pratiche verdi" non \u00e8 incompatibile<\/strong>, e ha detto che tutti gli hotel del suo gruppo hanno seguito questo, mentre uno era anche senza plastica<\/strong>. L'obiettivo \u00e8 trasformare tutti gli hotel del gruppo in hotel a rifiuti zero<\/strong>, che necessita di un'adeguata formazione del personale, ha aggiunto.<\/p>\n
