Overturizmus je v\u00e1\u017enou v\u00fdzvou, ktor\u00e1 po\u0161kodzuje cel\u00fd turistick\u00fd priemysel. V m\u00e9di\u00e1ch a publik\u00e1ci\u00e1ch sa o \u0148om \u010doraz viac hovor\u00ed ako o probl\u00e9me, ktor\u00fd pramen\u00ed zo samotn\u00e9ho konceptu cestovania, aj ke\u010f zah\u0155\u0148a len jeho mal\u00fa \u010das\u0165. Overturizmus nie je len \u00faplne neudr\u017eate\u013en\u00fd, je to rast\u00faci probl\u00e9m, ktor\u00fd treba bra\u0165 v\u00e1\u017ene. Politick\u00e9 reakcie na \u0148u s\u00fa v mnoh\u00fdch pr\u00edpadoch rovnako nemotorn\u00e9 a nepremyslen\u00e9 ako politiky, ktor\u00e9 ju vytvorili. Nadmern\u00e1 turistika m\u00f4\u017ee negat\u00edvne ovplyvni\u0165 sentiment cestovate\u013eov, ako aj udr\u017eate\u013en\u00fd turistick\u00fd priemysel v malom rozsahu.<\/p>\n

Hne\u010f na za\u010diatku m\u00e1me jasno:\u00a0Overturizmus nevypl\u00fdva z ekoturizmu<\/strong>a princ\u00edpy t\u00fdch, ktor\u00ed vychva\u013euj\u00fa zvy\u0161ovanie pr\u00edjmov z cestovn\u00e9ho ruchu do cie\u013eovej destin\u00e1cie za ka\u017ed\u00fa cenu, s\u00fa \u00faplne v rozpore s princ\u00edpmi ekoturizmu. Overturizmus je nevyhnutn\u00fdm v\u00fdsledkom cestovn\u00e9ho ruchu, ktor\u00fd berie do \u00favahy iba privil\u00e9gium turistu a nie partnerstvo medzi cestovate\u013eom a obyvate\u013emi destin\u00e1cie. Z n\u00e1\u0161ho v\u00fdskumu az faktov vypl\u00fdva, \u017ee \u013eudia, kult\u00fara, \u017eivotn\u00e9 prostredie a pr\u00edrodn\u00e9 zdroje komunity s\u00fa najd\u00f4le\u017eitej\u0161ou s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou cestovn\u00e9ho ruchu, nie cestuj\u00faci. Nadmern\u00e1 turistika je be\u017en\u00fdm probl\u00e9mom v niektor\u00fdch \u201ehor\u00facich miestach\u201c, kde degrad\u00e1cia sp\u00f4soben\u00e1 pr\u00edlevom m\u00f4\u017ee zna\u010dne prev\u00fd\u0161i\u0165 aj v\u00fdhody pr\u00edjmov z cestovn\u00e9ho ruchu, najm\u00e4 ak tieto pr\u00edjmy nie s\u00fa rozdelen\u00e9 spravodlivo.<\/p>\n

Rozvojov\u00e9 krajiny s\u00fa obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 citliv\u00e9 na \u00fa\u010dinky nadmern\u00e9ho turizmu v ich pr\u00edrodnom, ekonomickom a soci\u00e1lnom prostred\u00ed. Ich odpadov\u00e9 a kanaliza\u010dn\u00e9 syst\u00e9my nie s\u00fa dostato\u010dne vybaven\u00e9 na to, aby podporili ve\u013ek\u00fd pr\u00edlev \u013eud\u00ed, a nadmern\u00fd turizmus \u010dasto v drvivej v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ine zasyp\u00e1va destin\u00e1ciu. Miestni obyvatelia s\u00fa vytl\u00e1\u010dan\u00ed zo svojich domovov a nemaj\u00fa ani mo\u017enos\u0165 podie\u013ea\u0165 sa na ekonomick\u00fdch v\u00fdhod\u00e1ch pr\u00edjmov z cestovn\u00e9ho ruchu, ktor\u00e9 vypl\u00fdvaj\u00fa zo samotn\u00e9ho vyu\u017e\u00edvania ich domovsk\u00fdch komun\u00edt. Ekoturizmus m\u00f4\u017ee poskytn\u00fa\u0165 kr\u00e1tkodob\u00e9 a relat\u00edvne lacn\u00e9 rie\u0161enie nadmern\u00e9ho turizmu, ak je spr\u00e1vne implementovan\u00fd. Ekoturizmus umo\u017e\u0148uje rovnomernej\u0161ie rozde\u013eovanie pr\u00edjmov do nedostato\u010dne obsluhovan\u00fdch oblast\u00ed a z\u00e1rove\u0148 zabezpe\u010duje, aby pr\u00edjmy z cestovn\u00e9ho ruchu zostali v r\u00e1mci a fungovali pre komunity, ktor\u00e9 sa do\u0148 zap\u00e1jaj\u00fa.
