Overturism \u00e4r en allvarlig utmaning som skadar hela turistn\u00e4ringen. Det har t\u00e4ckts i media och publikationer alltmer som ett problem som h\u00e4rr\u00f6r fr\u00e5n sj\u00e4lva begreppet resor, \u00e4ven om det bara omfattar en liten del av det. Overturism \u00e4r inte bara helt oh\u00e5llbart, det \u00e4r ett v\u00e4xande problem som b\u00f6r tas p\u00e5 allvar. Politiska svar p\u00e5 det \u00e4r i m\u00e5nga fall lika klumpiga och ogenomt\u00e4nkta som de policyer som producerade det i f\u00f6rsta hand. \u00d6verturism kan negativt p\u00e5verka resen\u00e4rernas k\u00e4nslor s\u00e5v\u00e4l som den sm\u00e5skaliga h\u00e5llbara turistn\u00e4ringen.<\/p>\n

L\u00e5t oss vara tydliga fr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjan:\u00a0\u00d6verturism beror inte p\u00e5 ekoturism<\/strong>, och principerna f\u00f6r dem som hyllar \u00f6kade turistint\u00e4kter till en destination till varje pris \u00e4r helt motsatta mot ekoturismens. Overturism - som i sin enklaste form \u00e4r turism som skadar samh\u00e4llen genom \u00f6veranv\u00e4ndning eller f\u00f6rst\u00f6relse av resurser genom tr\u00e5ngboddhet - h\u00e4rr\u00f6r fr\u00e5n en bristande oro f\u00f6r destinationsgemenskapens h\u00e4lsa och v\u00e4lf\u00e4rd.\u00a0\u00a0\u00c5terigen \u00e4r detta helt motsatsen till ekoturismens grundl\u00e4ggande princip. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Overturism \u00e4r det oundvikliga resultatet av turismen som bara tar h\u00e4nsyn till en turists privilegium snarare \u00e4n ett partnerskap mellan resen\u00e4ren och folk p\u00e5 en destination. Deras avfalls- och avloppssystem \u00e4r d\u00e5ligt utrustade f\u00f6r att st\u00f6dja stora tillstr\u00f6mningar av m\u00e4nniskor, och \u00f6verturism st\u00f6r ofta \u00f6verv\u00e4ldigande destinationen.
